1 - project box 5"x 2"x 2.5"
(this size
was available
at radio shack but any size will do)
3 - 9 volt battery connectors with wire leads
2 - copper alligator clips
1 - toggle switch with an on/off plate or a
light.
(if you use a light be sure it will take up to 30 volts but it will use
up batteries quicker)
3' - plastic coated wire (automotive wire
works
good) (12 or 14 gauge)
1' - .999 pure 18 gage fine silver wire
(check
the jewelry store, one that does repairs)
3 - 9 volt alkaline batteries
Tool List
Drill
Knife or wire strippers
Screwdriver
Wire cutters
Soldering iron (not a must but makes a
stronger
unit)
Electric tape
Assembly
Remove the cover from your box and decide
how your
batteries will best lay inside it, where you want the switch to be and
where you want the 2 wires to come out of the box.
Drill the holes for the switch and the
wires. The
switch hole should be the exact size of the switch base so the switch
fits
tight. the wire holes should be the same size as your wires.
Cut the 3' wire into 2 equal pieces. Strip
all wire
ends, 1/4 to 1/2 inch, including the battery connectors.
Lay out the 3 bat connectors so the wires
all go
1 direction. You should have 6 wires in this order, red, black, red,
black,
red, black. Skip the first red wire, this will become your positive
wire
end. take the first black and the second red wire and twist the bare
ends
together, solder and tape. repeat this with the second black and third
red wires. the third black wire becomes your negative end.
Put the switch in the hole and secure.
attach the
first red wire to one post on the switch. Stick the 2 pieces of wire
through
their holes (tying a knot on the inside prevents them from being pulled
out later) attach one to the other side of your switch. Attach the
other
to the third black wire. Solder and tape all connections.
Now attach the alligator clips to the
outside ends
of your wires. Snap the batteries into the connectors arrange in the
box,
pad if necessary, and put the lid on the box.
Now cut your silver wire into 2 pieces and
bend
to resemble Shepard staffs (helps to hook on the edge of glass). Be
sure
to turn off switch when not in use or batteries will drain. Expect to
change
batteries and silver wire about once a year depending on use.
Making your own
Colloidal
Silver Ingredients list
your silver generator
1/2 teaspoon of Pure Sea salt
12 ounces of distilled water (no mineral
added!)
8oz drinking glass
4oz sealable jar & cover
eye dropper
8oz or larger amber glass bottle & cover
timer
plastic spoon
Directions
Saline solution:
Mix 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt with 4 oz of distilled water in your 4oz
jar.
mix until dissolved. It is important to use sea salt and NOT table,
iodized,
or any other salt. It is also important to use pure distilled
water
with no additives that might react with our solution. You may use a few
drops of silver colloid to preserve the saline solution for future use.
Colloidal Silver:
Pour 8 oz of distilled water into your 8 oz glass. do not use plastic
or
metal. Add 2 drops of your saline solution and stir it with your
plastic
spoon.(ONLY 2 drops and NO metal) Insert your silver wires into the
water
and position so they don't touch. Attach alligator clips to wires (do
not
allow clips to touch water). Set your timer for 5 minutes and turn on
your
generator. A silver cloud will begin to come from one wire and hydrogen
bubbles will come from the other. When the 5 minutes are up you will
have
8 oz of 5ppm (parts per million) colloidal silver. Turn off your
generator.
Detach the alligator clips. Remove the silver wires from your colloidal
silver. You will notice that the wire that emitted the silver cloud has
a darker look to it than the other one. You should clean it now with a
kitchen scrubby so it is ready to use next time. Light will cause the
silver
solution to deteriorate so store in a dark glass container. It only has
a shelf life of 1 m onth (I wonder how old the stuff is that the health
food store wants $20 for a small bottle?)
As
a rule of thumb at 72 deg F you will get 1ppm
for every minute of brewing, for every 10 deg increase in temperature
it
will double the rate. Do not boil the water or exceed 15 min! If black
chunks appear DO NOT USE, throw away and start over. We use a double
boiler
to warm our distilled water to just under boiling and brew for 10-15
min
to create an extremely concentrated formula.

is your responsibility to make an informed decision about using
