Ty’s 15-bean and ham: Soak dry beans overnight.
Any
combination of beans can be used. - add two heaping tablespoons of chopped
garlic. More is OK. - add a cup of chopped onion, dried onion
or spring onions. - add ½ cup of green chilies. - chunk up a ham hoc and include some of
the fat. - add 4 cups of stewed tomatoes. Chopped tomatoes also works. - add black pepper and a touch of red
pepper. |
